We are currently staffing our Director-Human Resources-Classified and are looking for a dedicated leader with experience in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, staff development, employee records management, classified substitute services, employee-employer relations, contract administration, and workers compensation program support.

The Director-Human Resources-Classified will be paid on the Classified Management Employees Salary Schedule, Salary Range 44.
 
Starting Salary Range/Step Expected: between $138,856.00 (Step 1) and $165,802.00 (Step 7) – see note below*, plus $3,819 master's stipend (if applicable), annually. Administrators with a PhD receive an additional stipend of 1% of base salary stipend.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Under the direction of the Personnel Commission and the Assistant Superintendent-Human Resources, plan, organize, control and direct the Human Resources classified program to assure the proper delivery of human resources services; develop, implement, administer and interpret policies, systems, processes and programs; direct the recruitment and selection process for classified personnel; stimulate, educate and support others in their knowledge and understanding of Human Resources services and issues; plan, organize and implement long-term and short-term projects and activities designed to develop and augment projects and services; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
