San Bernardino County is seeking a skilled and collaborative leader for their Assistant Director of Human Resources opportunity.

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the Assistant Director serves as the department’s second-in-command and plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations through coordination of the activities of the department’s divisions. This position will direct through subordinate managers, daily operation and delivery of human resources services that includes providing leadership across a broad range of human resources functions, and may include, recruitment, classification and compensation, personnel administration, policy development, employee relations, labor contract interpretation, organizational effectiveness, and compliance with applicable personnel rules and legal mandates.
